
Laide Daramola
Media executive, Filmmaker, and Senior Project Manager ConsultingLaide Daramola, aka Lady Laide, is a media executive, filmmaker, and senior project manager consulting for both NASA and the U.S. Department of State. She is also a photographer, content creator, and philanthropist. As a serial entrepreneur, Laide has established successful businesses in the United States and Nigeria, including the Lady Laide Group and Lady Laide films in 2018 and 2021 respectively.
Lady Laide holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) degree in Information Technology from Middlesex University in the United Kingdom, where she also minored in Multimedia. She was awarded a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland in the U.S. and obtained a certificate of Non-profit Management & Leadership from Harvard University. In addition, she is the recipient of the 2011 Young Achiever award by The Nigerian Event Awards (TNEA), in recognition of her exemplary leadership and stellar accomplishments.
Laide Daramola is a loving mother of 5-year-old fraternal twin girls, Abi & Vivi. Unperturbed by Abi’s sickle cell disease diagnosis, Lady Laide is a dedicated advocate for sickle cell warriors, creating awareness about blood cancers and disorders. As part of her humanitarian endeavors, Lady Laide launched the ‘Toys for Lagos’ project, which focuses on making the Christmas season memorable for less privileged children in Lagos. In 2022, Masters Touch, the non-profit she co-founded with her mother Pastor Abby Daramola, distributed 10,000 blankets to newborns and children in orphanages and hospitals.
Laide Daramola is living proof that hard work and dedication pay. Her mantra is “Do it big and make it count”.
